Mal Young with new series news on BBC3s Liquid news

Did I mishear Mal Young (Exec Producer of the new series) on Liquid
News on BBC3 just now?

"Russell T. Davies has written all 13 stories and they are brilliant"

perhaps he means just initial outlines?

no news on Casting "I get E-Mails every day but I seriously don`t
know", "We have a long short list" & "A Woman Doctor has been
considered" (After the suggestion by the interviewer of Caroline
Quinten)

According to the "Outpost Gallifrey" "'Doctor Who' News Page", that is
exactly what he meant. Thirteen storylines have been produced by
Russel T. Davies. I should imagine he will write five or six,
liberally dotted throughout the season, and farm the rest out. I would
really like to see Paul Cornell write one, and maybe some of the Big
Finish writers having a crack at a full television script.

Producers will be yanking our chains with rumours about a female Doctor
from now until doomsday. Gee, thanks Tom.

Actually, my understanding is that the initial suggestion was JNT's
idea. Hoo hah.

But of the two protagonists in that jolly wheeze, only Tom Baker is
still here to receive the brickbats.
